2015
Premium Maritime Fund I
Premium Maritime Fund I was launced as a joint venture between NRP Asset Management AS and Seahorse Maritime. The fund raised USD 26.6 million in capital commitments and made 9 investments in a total of 12 vessels.
2017
Premium Maritime Fund II
Second vintage of the equity strategy established under the same stucture and with the same strategy as its predecessor fund. Raised USD 23.8 million in capital commitments and made 11 investments in a total of 14 vessels.
2018
NRP Maritime Asset Management Established
Acquisition of Seahorse Maritime by NRP. NRP Maritime Asset Managemenet received its AIFM licence in 2018.
2019
Premium Maritime Fund III
Third vintage of the equity strategy. Raised USD 23.3 million in capital commitments and made 11 investments in 11 vessels.
2021
Premium Maritime Fund - merger
All 3 Premium Maritime Funds merged into the current Premium Maritime Fund AS with a total combined fund capital of USD 60.3 million.
2022
Premium Maritime Credit Fund
Premium Maritime Credit Fund is a Luxembourg domiciled AIF focusing on plugging the increasing funding gap in the maritime sector. Raised USD 112.8 million in capital commitments.
Fund Strategies
MAM has a strong focus on preservation of investor capital in an industry well known for its volatility. Since launching the first fund in 2015, MAM has employed a successful risk mitigating multi-segment strategy, and by staying independent from any deal provider, the team has full access to a strong deal flow through their large international network.
